Slurry Wall Bathtub Post 9/11

This photo was taken showing the removal of the old slurry wall to make room for the new transportation hub coming into the new, One World Trade Center. Only a small portion of the old slurry wall had to be removed for this hub and that is where the concrete blocks San will sculpt have come from. The foundation still stands as a testament to the amazing job the original contractors did in the 1960's, when creating this slurry wall support system.
