San and the 4 Marines Receiving the WTC Concrete Sculpture Block |
Here San is shown with, Gunnery Sergeant Andrew Nauss, Staff Sergeant Donald Christie,
Staff Sergeant Widmayer Boucard, and Sgt Christopher Deal. These 4 Marines received this concrete for all of us, stood patiently while the crane set up, the concrete was in place and after about three hours of all this, they finally got to fold the flag. You could not of asked for any more proud soldiers if you tried. They were so kind to do so in ceremonious style and present the flag to san once
folded properly by all of them. San received the flag for all the Men and Women of the United States of America.
The next set of photos below, start out with the process as it began with a perfectly balanced Concrete Piece carried past two of the 4 marines present, watching the block of World Trade Center Foundation concrete gliding across the parking lot and Sans Art Studio, draped in the American
flag. Then the next two Marines watch over the block as San speaks to the folks gathered there. The third photo shows the beginning of the folding of the flag, then the final fold and the presentation to San in a Military Salute. |
